On defense, the Dolphins were led by linebacker Jelani Jenkins who had 110 total tackles and 3.5 sacks. Defensive end Cameron Wake had 11.5 sacks and was named to the Pro Bowl.
The team was coached by Joe Philbin, who was fired after a disappointing start to the 2015 season.
